MEDICA reveals SeeFront 3D applications in microscopy, surgical imaging and training
Several of SeeFront's partners will exhibit SeeFront 3D monitors in various applications at MEDICA in Düsseldorf vom November 12-15, 2018.
Solectrix introduces the glasses-free 3D live system Aegolus that has been developed in cooperation with SeeFront. A prototype of the high-end 3D live system that combines Solectrix' 4k UHD camera system with SeeFront's autostereoscopic monitors (32'' and 15.6'') will be showcased at the booth of Bayern Innovativ. Aegolus is available as a complete system in which the 3D camera system replaces a stereo microscope. For existing systems, Aegolus can be used as an easy upgrade solution simply by connecting the camera heads to the microscope's eyepieces via adapters. Hall 03, booth # 3E83
NDS Surgical Imaging will show a technology demonstration of SeeFront's 32'' glasses free 3D monitor. The California based industry leader for medical imaging specializes in endoscopy visualization. Hall 10, booth # 10G14
The Fraunhofer Institute for Integrated Circuits (IIS) presents the prototype for a virtual surgery training system which includes a SeeFront 3D monitor. "HandsOn.surgery" helps surgeons to prepare for the individual patient's case by performing the operation on the patient's digital twin. The system has been developed within the government-funded project HaptiVisT. This project aims to develop and evaluate a sophisticated surgery training system with visual and haptic feedback. Test the system in hall 10 at booth # G05.
