SeeFront 3D monitor used in research study with infants

Scientists of the University of Bonn use a SeeFront 3D monitor for a research project with infants aged 6 to 16 weeks.  The goal of the empirical study is to learn more about how infants develop binocular vision in the first months of their lives. The project was funded by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), Germany’s largest research funding organization.

Two papers on the findings of Dr. Michael Kavšek and his team at the Department of Psychology have been published to date:

The onset of sensitivity to horizontal disparity in infancy: A short-term longitudinal study

Infants’ responsiveness to rivalrous gratings
